About Us

Nick's Jamaican Art offers artworks done by Jamaican artist Nicholas Barrett. We do self- portraits, murals, mix-media, abstract art, surrealism, pointillism, impressionism and many other types of art.

Nicholas Barrett is a Jamaican artist with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) (Secondary) with specialization in Visual Arts. He is an art educator and visual artist who specialize in various areas of art. As a Calabar High School student he excelled in academics placing 1st in his grade 9 class as well as winning the school's visual arts exhibition while he was in grade 8 at the age of 14 years old.

Ø 2^ndPlaced student in CSEC Visual Arts Jamaica territory and 4^th Place student in Caribbean Region for the Academic year 2014- 2015.

Ø 1^st in the Jamaica Cancer Society's National Anti- Tobacco Competition 2015.

Ø 4 of the Top 10 CSEC Visual Arts Students in Jamaica for the academic year 2013- 2014 including top student (1^st)

Ø 1^st in the Photography Category in Institute of Jamaica’s Arts in School 2014

Ø Voluntary services to the Mico University College Library and Constant Spring Police Station in 2010 and 2011 respectively as a participant in the National Youth Service’s (NYS) Jamaica Values and Attitude Project for Tertiary Students (JAMVAT).
